In what has become a holiday tradition, the Directors invite you to join us for a Grand Bouffe of Mandarin cuisine, headlined by the signature eponymous dish. With each passing year, we look forward with greater anticipation to this evening, when our members share with one another something special from their own cellars, resulting in an array of wines of remarkable depth and diversity.
EACH participant is expected to bring a bottle.
Note: so that everyone might enjoy a representative selection, the bottle you bring may not be placed at your table.
The Menu
Starters:
Assortment: dumpling, spring roll, spare rib and bbq beef stick.
Entree:
Peking duck
Shrimp with garlic sauce
Beef with Chinese black mushrooms and bamboo shoots
Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce
Homemade noodles with sautéed chicken and vegetables
Please notify us as you sign up of any food allergies or restrictions and include details of the bottle(s) you’re contributing. If you’re undecided what to bring, refer to the list of wines below. RWM, Flatiron, and Chambers Street offer discounts to members, and their staff would be happy to recommend something to “fill in the blanks.”
The cost of the dinner includes all taxes, corkage fees, and gratuities.
