6:00-7:30 PM

at the Home of Vicki & Ian J. Cohn
Upper East Side

The Chantepleure Directors invite Members to individually curated tastings in our homes.

In this tasting, we will explore the Cabernet Franc grape, and how it is affected by the terroir in which it is grown (and how age further transforms these fascinating wines). Vintages ranging from 2001-2015 from Bourgeuil - Lamé Delisle Boucard; Chinon - Chateau de Petit Thouars; and Saumur-Champigny - Domaine Filliatreau will be featured (with a fourth “ringer” served blind!), accompanied by cheese and charcuterie.

Each of the 5 tastings - in small groups - will be unique, however all will hew to a common theme: wines (and nibbles) selected from the host’s personal collection that speak to us as signature expressions of each appellation and that we are most excited to share with our friends.

There are 5 directors and 5 dates to chose from, but attendance is limited - and only available on a first-come, first-served basis. So, don’t dally! If your first choice is “Sold Out,” don’t fret: pick another! If you have previously been in the home of a Director, please sign up for another tasting. For security and privacy, details of the exact locations of the selected Director’s home will be sent by email at a later date.

There is no charge to members for the tasting, but advance registration is essential.
