Wine Dinner: At Home in the Loire
Thursday, 24 February 2022, 7:00 PM
Lexington Pizza Parlor
1590 Lexington Avenue
New York, NY, 10029

In what may seem an unlikely venue for French food, a multi-course meal based on authentic family recipes from the Loire (the French-born owner was married just outside Blois), will be specially prepared exclusively for our convivial group of 20. We will occupy the entire restaurant, and have the full attention of the staff as we enjoy the “cuisine de la mére” (mom’s home cooking) of the Touraine. Wines from four Loire appellations - Saumur, Chinon, and Coteaux du Layon in current releases, as well as a Bourgueil en magnum from an older vintage - will be paired with each course.
Note: picture shown is a cheese board, as served in the home of a Vouvray wine maker
